Gregory M. Hemmert serves as Chief Executive Officer of Arsco Custom Metals, where he leads the company with a strong focus on strategic growth, innovation, customer relationships, and operational excellence. With extensive experience in sales engineering, product development, custom fabrication, specialty construction contracting, project management, and executive leadership, Gregory brings both vision and hands-on industry knowledge to his role.

Gregory’s journey with Arsco began more than 18 years ago, well before he took ownership of the company. Since then, he has helped shape Arsco’s direction by advancing precision-engineered solutions, expanding custom fabrication capabilities, and fostering a culture built on accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. His leadership style reflects a balance of strategic planning and practical execution, allowing Arsco to remain responsive to customer needs while continuing to grow its capabilities.

Under Gregory’s guidance, Arsco continues to evolve as a full-service custom metal fabrication partner. He remains closely connected to the details of the business, from customer solutions and design development to project execution and long-term company planning. His ability to connect big-picture vision with hands-on problem-solving has helped position Arsco for continued success in a competitive manufacturing environment.

Prior to his career in manufacturing and construction, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Machine Gun Sergeant and Designated Marksman, including deployment to Haditha Dam, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom III with 3/25 Lima Company. His military experience continues to influence his leadership style, reinforcing his commitment to discipline, teamwork, and mission-focused execution.

Outside of Arsco, Gregory enjoys spending time with his wife, working through home projects, staying active with CrossFit, and spending time with their Goldendoodles. He also continues to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, including yCollide, a startup focused on developing ideas from concept to Series A funding. One day, Gregory hopes to visit the lush landscapes of Ireland.
